This movie is like the last scene in 2001 on bad drugs. The story is about a scientist who is using an unknown drug developed by a bunch of weird Mexican indians and a sensory isolation tank to become one with his primal self. The story is solid and moves. It goes from exploratory sci-fi to horror and back quite quickly. The effects are pretty solid given the time, and the drug trips arent too painful. A very bizarre, feel good kind of ending makes it a little weak, but overall not a bad show. The DVD has a remastered 5.1 Dolby Digital soundtrack and is anamorphic. The DVD doesnt contain any special features, but if you like the flick, this is the copy to get.
