While drastically different in form and function from the first movie, Aliens is still a wonderful piece of work that showcases James Camerons talents well before Titanic would give him an Oscar. In this movie we see Ripley facing her demons by accompanying a group of the hardest marines in space as they go back to the planet where the original ship crashed. Aliens was more of an action movie than Alien was, but this is really James Camerons best ability so it works very well. This DVD was the Special Edition of the film, adding about 20 minutes of additional footage. I wont give too much away, but most of it is definitly worth seeing. The DVD contains a large story board section that lets you see behind the scene shots as well as an interview with James Cameron on the film. The movie is enhanced for 16x9 displays and has been remastered in Dolby Digital 5.1. This is an absolute must have in any collection, as is the original.
