A story of personal growth and friendship in a town with a population less than some college classes I have had. Guess I was too fired up from Cube and X-Files to really enjoy this one. Maybe one for those of you who really get into stories of personal friendship and small town relationships. While I like dramas, I am more into stories I can at least partially relate to, and this isnt one. The movie certianly isnt bad, but not what I would call breath taking or exciting. The acting is quite good, and the writing is just fine. The DVD has a Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack (though it really wasnt needed) and the picture is 16x9 enhanced with some wonderful landscape shots. Overall, this could be one perfect date movie for the small town girl. For me, I would rather see Blade.
