This review is slightly biased since I am a big fan of the show. This movie was written as something that would reward the long time viewer, but stand alone enough for the first time viewer. That is a really hard goal to set, but this seemed to do a moderately good job. There are some very nice special effects, some pretty lame running-through-corn-getting-chased-by-helicopter scenes, some cheezy almost kiss scenes and some decent conspiracy scenes. There are a couple major plot holes and some big suspenses of reality, but overall, it isnt that bad. Frankly there were better episodes, but it still stands alone pretty well. The picture is not 16x9 enhanced, but is still pretty sharp, and the 5.1 Dolby Digital sound is top notch. There is a directors commentary and a pretty long making of feature. Overall, if you are a fan of the show, it isnt a bad one for the collection.
