The tale of revenge with the skills of a con artist. This AFI 100 movie is a light hearted romp from the initial playing of The Entertainer all the way through to the final credits, this was just a pleasure. Robert Redford and Paul Newman are a perfect team, and the twists and turns have you going from beginning to end. The DVD was a disaster, with a lousy hissy soundtrack and a pan-and-scan transfer. I cant give anything but a zero for a DVD that doesnt follow the orignal matting of the picture. There are no extras.
